IT Team Leader

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities The primary role is to develop and assist helpdesk technicians and system / network administration in any and all tasks presented.  Additionally, provides full support to the IT Manager.  Secondary roles include assessing the business needs presented by the user community and resolving with budget-conscious technical or education solutions. Participate in all hardware and software evaluations Develop direct reports so they gain a better understanding of business process and functions Direct and prioritize workload of IT members Manage all data backups Maintain business continuity plans as well as disaster recovery Perform liaison duties between users, and help desk technicians in areas of design, functionality, and troubleshooting Educates the user base regarding key IT updates, coverage, and training as needed Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing processes by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions Maintain and monitors SOX compliant level of LANDesk and Qualys Create key performance indicators (KPIs) and bring visibility to teams performance metrics Maintain firmware levels of switching, VM, and backup infrastructure All other duties and tasks assigned What You Need to Succeed Knowledgeable in standard business processes Able to assess, analyze, and predict problems/undesired functionality that users may not be able to foresee Able to communicate technical issues to non-technical users Able to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities Able to operate within the parameters of a budget Able to assess problematic situations and develop creative solutions to resolve them 5+ years SOX experience (recommended) 5+ years VM experience (recommended) Bachelor's Degree in a business related field (recommended) or equivalent experience Minor/Concentration in a computer/technical related field (recommended) or equivalent experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
