Quality Technicial

The Quality Technician - Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products and recording quality results. Additionally, read blueprints and specifications. Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor. Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs and maintaining calibration. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Perform final inspections and commissioning on Metal Detection and X-ray units as needed. Radiation Testing on all X-ray units as needed. Perform standard testing on Metal Detection and X-ray units as needed. Assists with Customer Factory Acceptance Testing on Checkweigher, Metal Detection and X-ray units as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good overall understanding of mechanical and electrical manufacturing methods and results (machining, welding, forming, assembly and electrical wiring) Willing to work overtime as needed to support production and customer needs. Develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments. Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Minimum Education / Experience Required:
1 to 3 years of experience in quality control function in manufacturing environment. High Scool Diploma required, 2-year degree preferred Experience with wiring schematics is preferred
Pay range: $18. 50 - $21

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
