We are now hiring for our Jiffy Lube location at 21345 State Road 54. We have positions available for Lube Technicians, and Customer Service Advisors. There is no experience required we will train you. The Brake Technician/Mechanic must have an ASE A5 certification. LUBE TECHNICIAN/CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR
Job Description:
Responsible for performing automotive services and activities associated with the store in an accurate and timely manner according to company policies and procedures.
Principle Accountabilities:
Execution and reinforcement of customer service mantra -- Fast, Trustworthy, and
Knowledgeable. . Every time, Everywhere.
Performs automotive services according to J Team Service Standards (JTSS) vehicle team execution.
Demonstrates good customer service skills.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid Driver's License
Age 21 or older
Ability to speak, read, and write English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees.
Can complete the required computer based training (CBT) modules for the CSA position, and CT position, and Product Knowledge.
Attendance is an essential function of employment and you must be timely and ready to work your scheduled shifts.
Physical Requirements:
The Lube Technician position will require the employee to regularly service cars. Thus, while performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
Use of hands, and fingers to feel, reach with hands and arms.
Able to climb stairs.
Able to lift objects up to 25 pounds and transfer from one height to another.
Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
Able to communicate clearly.
BRAKE TECHNICIAN
Job Description:
The Brake Technician performs common duties of automotive brake repair, including performing diagnostic tests and determining common brake problems, repairing and replacing brakes, and performing routine brake maintenance. Previous brake experience and ASE A5 certification required.
GOALS/DUTIES:
Properly operating lifting equipment (i.e. jacks, jack stands, and hoist); performing complete disc or drum brake service including, but not limited to, hydraulic repair or replacement, attaching hardware (removal/replacement), front-end/suspension, light drive train repair, wheel bearing service, Anti-lock brake/electrical and wheel/tire R&R; properly operates and maintains brake lathe; keeping up with current developments in the field of automotive brake repair including discovering new information and technology for both current and future problem-solving in vehicle diagnosis; maintaining appropriate skill level with traditional or advanced hand tools; maintaining ASE A5 certification.
REQUIREMENTS:
oMust have a valid Florida Driver's License
oMust have ASE A5 brake certification
oHigh School Diploma or GED
oAn impressive work-ethic
oNeat, clean, and professional appearance
oMust be able to lift 50 lbs.
oMust be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions
oMust be able to transport oneself from one working level to another
